We now accept Medicaid CSHCN clients
Araceli Vazquez, MS, RD, LD is now a certified provider for Texas Medicaid Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) program. Using state and federal funds, the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program provides health benefits to qualified families with children with special health care needs. Under Title V of the Social Security Act, the state receives a block grant to provide direct services (e.g., health benefits), as well as enabling services and population-based services like newborn screening. Araceli will now provide nutrition consultation services to families with children that have special health care needs.
